Designed for optimal stabilization and ease of use, the ACROBAT V Vacuum Stabilizer offers strength and stability excellent access and visibility to the anastomotic site. It features the maneuverability of our FlexLink technology on a stronger arm, our innovative tri-slot socket for “toes-up” capability, and independent vacuum pods on malleable feet designed to conform to all contours of the heart. The lowest profile in the ACROBAT family, this stabilizer guarantees increased access to the surgical site.

Beating Heart Surgery
In contrast to conventional bypass surgery, which stops the heart and puts the patient on a heart-lung machine during the grafting procedure, off-pump coronary artery bypass (OPCAB) uses local stabilization of the heart that allows the surgeon to operate while the heart still beats.
