Maquet SERVO ventilators set the standard for the field of critical care. Based on proven SERVO technology, SERVO-s offers leading edge mechanical ventilation in a straightforward package. The SERVO-s ventilator’s simplicity of use makes it easier to provide high quality ventilation bedside, giving you more time to focus on patient care. It features a wide range of ventilation modes that can be tailored to specific clinical situations. The intuitive user interface provides valuable decision support information.
SERVO-s® immediately responds to patient needs in terms of pressure and flow changes in a variety of modes.
Patient interaction and reduced work of breathing
SERVO technology makes it possible to minimize work of breathing both at the beginning and at the end of the breath, which maximizes patient comfort and results in better interaction. This is made possible by the SERVO Feedback Control System, which is extremely sensitive to patient needs in terms of pressure and flow changes. Even the smallest deviations from set values are sensed, fed back to the SERVO-controlled valves, and regulated - several hundred times a second. The system ensures the patient receives precisely the chosen level of ventilation. An apnea backup is available in support modes.
Non-invasive ventilation with leakage compensation
The easy-to-use NIV option for pediatric and adult patients provide responsive and comfortable leakage compensation made possible by measuring and adjusting during the same breath, thus maintaining the set pressure to the patient. A waiting position from standby to start ventilation facilitates the work for the staff and increases patient comfort. The monitoring capabilities of the SERVO-s will enhance patient surveillance and guarantee smooth liberation from the ventilator.
The ergonomic SERVO-s user interface, with its color screen and clear graphics, is designed for clinicians by clinicians. Ventilator settings can be made either via the touch screen, the main rotary dial, or a combination of both. A streamlined menu system and direct access knobs also ensure fast changes of vital settings when needed. Status information for oxygen cell, expiratory cassette and battery capacity is shown on the display to facilitate control.
SERVO-s displays fast-response, high-resolution waveforms that indicate inspiratory and expiratory pressures, flows and volumes, with diagnostic quality. Volume/Pressure and Flow/Volume loops make it easy to follow patient progress, make clinical evaluations and tailor treatment to individual needs. SERVO-s also offers accurate time and detail recording for up to 24 hours.
The easy-to-follow automated pre-use check takes just a few minutes, and gives an optimal calibration and status for vital functions that need to be checked before connecting a patient. Previous Mode functionality makes it easy to switch back to the previous ventilation mode, with its last settings.
The SERVO-s is also designed for easy cleaning and maintenance. A one-piece interchangeable expiratory cassette means the system can instantly be made ready for the next patient. No dismantling or re-assembly of parts is needed.

It does not matter how advanced the support platform is if the interface linking its capabilities to the patient is compromised. Choosing genuine Maquet consumables helps ensure that you can take full advantage of the Maquet SERVO ventilators.
- are fully tested and approved
- are made of top quality material and design
- guarantee full capabilities and performance
- minimize risk for unplanned downtime and ensures optimum performance throughout the system's lifecycle
Maquet has designed a full range of masks, breathing systems/circuits and patient specific interface options for the SERVO ventilators. Each of these options is quality engineered to ensure ongoing access to the platforms’ key support features while promoting better patient comfort and safety.
Filters and humidifiers
The unique Servo Duo Guard filter is specially designed to manage nebulized medications. It can be used for 48 hours without exchange. It also helps to secure a healthy work-environment for your staff and at the same time protects the ventilator, helping ensure a long life time.
Servo humidifiers are optimized to combine high efficiency with low resistance and small volume. The Servo humidifiers come in versions with or without a bacterial/viral filter, humidifying and reducing contamination risk for patient and equipment. Maquet supplies both active and passive humidifiers.
Non-invasive ventilation (NIV) masks
The NIV face masks are non-vented and especially designed to help facilitate breathing for patients with acute or chronic respiratory distress or failure. The soft membrane cushion provides a comfortable seal that is easily fitted to your patient. The NIV masks come in a variety of sizes, and are available as reusable or disposable.
Reusable and disposable breathing systems
The breathing systems are lightweight with smoothbore internal design to minimize flow resistance. Can be fitted with active or passive humidifiers.
Neonatal prongs and masks
The Miniflow® system is a complete system for providing NIV NAVA and nasal CPAP. The weight of the Miniflow adapter has been minimized and the noise level of the system is low. The caregiver can alternate between prongs and masks to help avoid complications. Designed to minimize the dead space volume.
