Maquet international training courses

Mechanical ventilation and extracorporeal respiratory support training
Maquet international training courses in Shanghai, China - December 4 - December 8, 2015

Maquet, in collaboration with the Monza ECMO center, now offers a unique opportunity to learn the important clinical and technological aspects of successful ECMO treatment and its interaction with mechanical ventilation. The two courses will cover both technological issues and the special circumstances of extracorporeal physiology and mechanical ventilation. The courses are highly interactive and based on actual patient cases with several how-to exercises.

The courses will be conducted by Professor Nicolo Patroniti, who is the coordinator of the Italian National Program for ECMO, and Dr. Giacomo Grasselli, Clinical Director of the ECMO center in Monza. They both have published several outstanding papers in the field of ECMO and mechanical ventilation. The professors are supported by our local Maquet Team, with medical background as RRT (registered respiratory therapist), perfusionist and anesthesiologist.
